In the heart of the Cape Winelands, Simondium's Country Lodge, in addition to offering not only magnificent scenery, warm hospitality, and some of the finest traditional Cape dishes to be found anywhere, is also within easy driving distance of many of the Western Cape’s other attractions, such as the many outstanding golf courses, the excellent day and medi spas, the scenic drives and amazing rock formations to be found in the surrounding countryside.  Functions and WeddingsFor couples about to be married and looking for something different, yet offering the charm of yesteryear and conveniences of today, there is the unique choice of a beautiful setting in the heart of the Cape Winelands!Simondium's Country Lodge offers a break-away from the city with affordable accommodation while offering facilities for weddings, honeymoons and other functions. The gardens offer a special setting with a beautiful gazebo under which the couple can have their marriage ceremony. There are also churches within 2 kilometres from the Lodge. For a wedding reception, the Lodge can offer the use of their venue, round tables and chairs, crockery and cutlery, and will assist you in compiling your menu. A fully stocked Bar and barman are also available. An added bonus for a couple having their wedding function at the Lodge, is that the Honeymoon Suite is included in the quoted price.
